Problem Note 54087: Active Series check box might be available when series is a child of an inactive series
The Active series check box in the Modeling view might be able to be selected at times when it should not be available. Checking this box might lead to an inconsistency between the Modeling View and the Forecasting View.
To avoid this problem, only use the Active series check box in the Forecasting View even if you are in Modeling View. Alternatively, you can use the menu option Series ► Make Series Active (or Make Series Inactive).

Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
In SAS® Forecast Studio, a child series should not be permitted to be made active if its parent series is inactive. Yet, the active button might be available (not grayed out) in the Modeling View for the child series.
